Scratch Live supports all these file formats: Fixed and Variable Bit Rate MP3, AIFF, AAC, WAV, OGG Vorbis, CD Audio and direct from the mixer. Record from your Mic and immediately scratch as if it was on vinyl. Record direct from vinyl or CD and save as 16-bit 44.1 kHz stereo file.

Easily import your playlists and iTunes library. You can drag from Explorer (Windows) or the Finder (Mac) into the Scratch Live library. The crate and subcrate system helps organize your library and sets. Hot-swap external drives with fast automatic library merging and retention of crates. Browse your music collection by album, artist, BPM, or genre, with optional album art display. Intuitive search function can be applied to any field to find things quickly. Edit ID3 tags with full Unicode support.

Preprocessing of MP3 files is not required except to detect corrupt files or use the auto-BPM and auto-gain functions. Auto-BPM detects tempo information for tracks without it, saving it with each file. A tap tempo button allows you to enter your own. Auto-gain lets you set a target gain on any or all songs in your library. You can also manually adjust individual gain, remembered in each song file.

The Virtual Deck shows everything about the speed and position of a track. As the vinyl rotates, so does the line on the label. The circular progress bar around the edge is a visual representation of the position within the song. The time and remaining time are displayed in minutes and seconds. The turntable speed as a percentage of pitch shift is on the left, and the pitched BPM is on the right.

Different operating modes can be assigned to each Virtual Deck:
Absolute Mode — exact reproduction of record movement, needle drop through tracks – just like normal vinyl. The beginning of the track is mapped to the start of the record.
Relative Mode — skip-free scratching, jump to cue points, and pitch bend buttons combined with turntable control. This mode observes the relative forward and backward movement of the record, but does not regard the position within the record.
Internal Mode — mix with just your laptop using features modeled on DJ CD players. Rewind, Bend down, Play / pause reverse, Play / pause forward, Bend up, Fast forward.
Auto mode — play a sequence of tracks automatically.

With Key Lock on, the key or pitch of the song stays locked at what it would be if the track was playing at normal speed, regardless of the platter speed of the turntable or CD player. Key Lock has scratch detection, so it automatically turns off when scratching for a natural scratching sound.

Variable zoom waveforms centered around current position display horizontally or vertically. Waveforms are colored by frequency so you can distinguish instruments visually. Full track overview lets you quickly find where the beat drops, find breakdowns and choruses, and jump to any part of the song. The tempo display assists with rapid tempo matching of tracks. When the two tracks are matched to the same tempo, the peaks will line up. Beat display emphasizes the transients in tracks -- these are matched up when the two tracks are beat matched. Visual markers can be set for up to 5 cue points per song and triggered from the keyboard. Save up to 9 loops per track -- these loops are saved in the file, and will be present when you reload. Censor expletives on the fly with an instant quick-reverse and catch-up with no loss of timing or pitch.

MIDI control can interface USB controllers with Scratch Live. DJ controller support will vary. Check the release notes in the Downloads section at scratchlive.net for supported controllers.

Built-in help and tips in multiple languages are accessible anytime. There is even a low power warning when running off a laptop battery.

Scratch Live has special abilities only available with the TTM 57SL
Two Digital Effects Processors are installed in the TTM 57SL mixer instead of the software so they are available even when Scratch Live is not running. Effects may be synced to BPM and include echo, sweeping filters, phasing and flanging. The “soft” section of controls has multiple functions for controlling Scratch Live from the matched physical controls on the TTM 57SL. They also assign the Internal Digital Effects when the mixer is operated stand-alone without a computer. Six different preset groups optimize common controls for playback, cue/looping, effects, recording and library. You can customize any control or assign to MIDI with a right-click. Footswitch controls are mapped here as well.

PIONEER CDJ-400

PIONEER cdj 400

USB Integration and MP3 Playback The CDJ-400s cosmetic design is simple and compact yet elegant with all of its various controls and features located directly on top of the unit. A USB port found on the face of the player allows DJs to play their MP3 music collection from a wide variety of portable music devices such as thumb drives, MP3 players or external hard drives. With the use of a multi-function selector knob/button and its large, bright, dot-matrix LCD display, locating and accessing of files from these types of music devices as well as MP3 music files on CD and CD-R/RW through the CD slot are done with a turn and press of the knob. DJ Software Compatibility and MIDI Control With more of today's DJs utilizing different DJ software for their performances, the CDJ-400 is also equipped with a PC mode. In this mode, the CDJ-400 is a native controller for software such as Pioneer DJS computer software and SERATO Scratch LIVE. For example, the movement of the pitch slider on the CDJ-400 can control the pitch slider on the computer software and no time code CD is required for audio control. The player can also act as a MIDI controller where the user can assign virtually every button on the player to trigger functions of various DJ software programs. Worlds First Scratch Jog Effect A highlight and an advancement of the CDJ-400 is its scratching capability. In addition to traditional vinyl mode scratching, Pioneer implemented the Worlds First Scratch Jog Effect. Three highlighted buttons, each assigned to a special effect, Bubble, Trans and Wah, creates unique scratching sound effects that can be enabled by the DJ on the fly. A hold button was also added to retain the different effects throughout the session or until its release, which can also be triggered at any point of play. Other Performance Features: Digital Loop functions: A variety of loops can be created for additional audio effects. Beat Loop: Automatically creates a four beat loop based on the tempo of the music (BPM) being played. Loop Divide: Rhythmically divides the loop to create different patterns. Hot Loop: Restarts the loop seamlessly from its entry without interruption of the music. Digital Jog Break: In CD mode the CDJ-400 contains three effects, Jet, Roll and Wah, which further enhances the audio by simply rotating the jog dial. The same buttons for the Scratch Jog Effect are assigned to the Digital Jog Break which are accessible at any point of play. Tempo Control: Four tempo modes, 6%, 10%, 16% and WIDE, provide additional speed control with a resolution of 0.02% in the 6% range. Cue/Loop Points: Up to 10 cue/loop points per disc, for up to 920 discs, can be stored to players memory. Jog Indicator: A red halo illumination around the jog provides instantaneous visual feedback to the DJ. Customizable Jog Wheel: Users can create their own customized image to insert under the removable jog wheel top. Digital Output: A digital output is available for a direct connection for clearer sound to a connected mixer. Resume Function: The function takes effect if a CD is ejected accidentally. Once the DJ re-inserts the disc, it automatically starts playing from exactly the point where it stopped

LS1208 - Subwoofer - 1200w, 18 inch

Yorkville LS1208 Yorkville LS1208

A two year investigation into the optimization of high output low frequency sound has yielded the LS1208 “basspipe” subwoofer system. The "basspipe" is a multiple flare horn, connected to an organ like pipe, slowly flaring to the mouth. The bandwidth is narrowed, optimized to a specific range in the lower registers. Outdoor measurements show very smooth, very high output in the 35Hz to 200Hz range. This is the highest efficiency that we have ever seen for a single 18” driver enclosure, especially with a gross volume of only 22 cubic feet. In addition, a significant gain is achieved when using two units side by side as the mouth nears maximum acoustic load.

Additional research has developed a woofer with significantly higher power handling than any other speaker that we currently use, making the LS1208 one of the highest output subwoofers available at any price. Performance, packaging, and overall value make the LS1208 a benchmark.

Features

Suitable for touring or fixed installations, the cabinets are constructed of 15mm 11-ply Baltic Birch with heavy internal bracing for reduced resonance and better durability. The enclosure is covered in a black carpet covering and incorporates metal corner protectors, rugged curved anti-resonant metal grilles, and 1/4" or Speakon™ input connectors. An optional finish of black ultrathane paint (LS1208B) is also available. Additionally, the Speakon™ connectors feature a configuration switch which allows instant reversal of Speakon™ jack pinouts for easy single wire hook-up using optional four wire Speakon™ cables. The LS1208 includes tilt-back wheels and top/rear mounted corner handles for better maneuverability and stacking (wheels don't fall in the handles!!).

élite Series Overview

The Compact & Complete Solution Yorkville’s élite series loudspeaker systems are the result of years of research, pushing the limits of modern state-of-the-art sound reinforcement technology. Engineered for the serious pro audio user, élite systems are among the most advanced, most versatile and most efficient high powered portable P.A. boxes available.

Today’s élites, from the highly efficient two-way E10 to the 1500 watt E2152 have some of the most advanced component protection and crossover technology available today. They have been carefully designed to bring you the latest in Yorkville’s advanced loudspeaker engineering.

Ideal for any small PA rental house, installer or sound company, these loudspeakers may replace a number of specific application cabinets in any inventory.

Modified Trapezoidal Shape A modified trapezoidal shape and recessed input jack panel and handles mean these cabinets can function perfectly as a wedge monitor or front-of-house loudspeaker. Unlike some ‘multi-function’ loudspeakers currently in the marketplace, great care has been taken in the design process to ensure that élite cabinets will perform without compromising functionality as either a monitor or a front-of-house enclosure. Neither application was considered as an afterthought.

Several of the élite loudspeakers are loaded with 80° x 50° rotatable ABS Waveguide horn assemblies (the E10 utilizes a 100° x 25° horn). The ability to rotate the horn assembly ensures that the cabinet can provide optimum high frequency dispersion when the loudspeaker is used in either a vertical, horizontal or arrayed application.

Integrated stand mount adapters and flyware means these enclosures can be utilized in any permanent install or touring application. In addition, the modified cabinet shape means the élite series can be installed much closer to vertical surfaces and in some cases, under balconies in tight locations, and can be arrayed in a much tighter less obtrusive cluster.

Of course, the élite series has retained the features and high quality sound that have made them so popular including Yorkville's famous two year (even if you break it!) transferable warranty.*

Advanced technology

Advanced Crossover Networks and Protection Schemes
The majority of the élite range feature seamless driver interaction through sophisticated high-slope passive networks and ingenious component protection schemes. Rugged jackplates are inset and include a combination of both Speakon™ and 1/4" phone jack inputs.

Advanced PTC™ Horn Protection makes its debut in the élite series.
PTC™ is an ingenious current sensing / self resetting breaker that offers some serious advantages over current protection schemes used in many loudspeaker cabinets. This protection scheme, while always present in the signal path, remains inaudible until it becomes necessary for it to react. It kicks in at a point where it effectively reduces output to the horn and protects that diaphragm from damage due to excessive power input or signal distortion. Unlike a breaker it does not require a physical reset to allow signal back to the horn driver, and unlike a bulb or fuse, does not need to be replaced if the circuit is tripped, and the fuse is blown.

Under the hood of an E152 Where PTC™ shines is in heavy feedback environments where most horn diaphragm damage occurs. In rare situations even where a microphone might be dropped in a monitor, the sustained ‘squeal’ can destroy diaphragms in seconds. PTC™ will significantly reduce output level to the horn to protect the diaphragm. When the situation has been rectified, and the feedback eliminated the horn will return to full operating level within half a second.

The E2152 features the ATP™ (Active-Transistor) protection system, which allows the horn driver to operate at levels significantly above those required for normal operation. The ATP™ brickwall element of the protection circuit uses power transistors configured to operate linearly yet have the fast attack required to protect against harmful transients. Along with ATP™, the crossover also incorporates air core coils and polypropylene capacitors to guarantee reliable and distortion free operation at extreme levels. The sonic benefit is higher output and greater transparency when operating at high levels.

élite Series Characteristics

Processor Controlled
Full function stereo analog processors that are configurable for passive or bi-amp operation, as well as live or recorded music applications make sure that your élite system is always tuned and ready.

Rugged Driver Mounting System
All élite cabinets feature a specially reinforced driver mounting system that makes sure the horn drivers will still be attached to the horns when you get to the show. The ABS or composite horns are pressure fitted to the driver which is bolted to the internal driver support.

Custom Design Horns
Custom ABS plastic and composite horns are specifically designed for each cabinet and manufactured right in our factory for optimum quality control. This insures proper waveguide output for better clarity and lower distortion.

E2152 Cutaway ImageRugged Black Carpet Covering
The stylish yet practical carpet that covers the élite cabinets keeps them looking great. The two part rubberized glue that is used to attach the carpet ensures that élite cabinets will stand up against moisture by effectively wrapping the cabinet in a rubber glove.

Curved Metal Speaker Grilles
Curved metal grilles absorb shocks evenly to resist dings and dents while eliminating frequency resonance. The trapezoidal cabinet shape allows for arrayable performance without phase cancellation.

Recessed Handles
All élite cabinets feature attractively recessed bar handles. Great care is taken to make sure that they "stay out of the way", but are easy to get at when you need them.

Flush Mounted Stand Adapters
Flush-mounted stand adapters in the top of the subs and bottom of the full-range speakers allow the use of the adjustable SW-TELETUBE option which makes setup a breeze by eliminating the need for speaker stands.

Integrated Wheels
Tilt back wheels and top-mounted handles are standard issue on the larger cabinets such as the E215, E2152, LS1208 and LS1004.

PLX 2502

PLX 2502 will be used to power the subs. It will be running in mono bridge mode to deliver 2500 watts of power to the subs.

Every show matters. Every note matters. Every moment matters.
Otherwise, what's the point? QSC shares your obsession, providing the audio tools that
stand up night after night, no matter what. Working without fail, not to just support,
but to enhance the art of musical performance.
Every time.

Introduction

The PLX2 series is a range of premium quality, high-power amplifiers designed for the most demanding live performance uses. Built on the third generation of QSC PowerLight® technology, PLX2 amplifiers combine light weight, superlative audio quality and proven QSC reliability. With power ratings up to 3,600 watts, PLX2 amplifiers are capable of providing plenty of clean, undistorted output to the most power hungry speaker systems.

Two ways to get PLX2 performance

The "02" models (PLX1802, PLX2502, PLX3102 and PLX3602) are the right choice for users who need to drive up to four loudspeakers from each amplifier channel (2 ohm loading), or when extremely high power bridge mono operation is required. These models feature built-in subwoofer processing, filter switches, and front panel indications of bridge mono status.

Mechanical

PLX2 series amplifiers have the refined, rugged good looks usually associated with high performance racing cars, competition bikes, professional power tools, and high power machinery. A solid, cast-aluminum front panel adds professional style to any rack while also acting as an integral I-beam, rigidly tying the chassis together for years of on-the-road reliability.

Additional mechanical touches such as the side stiffening rails, rear rack ears and cable tie anchor points attest to QSC's years of experience and attention to detail. QSC has even designed the integrated front handles so the amplifier slides into a rack without scraping the installers fingers on the rack sides. The exterior appearance of PLX2 amplifiers conveys what's inside - simply and truly, 13 to 21 pounds of the most advanced professional power amp on the planet.

PowerLight Technology

PowerLight switchmode technology replaces a large, heavy AC transformer (typically 20 lbs. / 9 kg) with a highly efficient and lighter-weight active design. Conventional AC transformers provide 100 or 120 energy pulses per second, the PowerLight supply delivers 190,000 to 230,000 pulses per second. More pulses make it easier to provide on-demand power for the amplifier's output section. The power supply doesn't "sag" so bass notes stay full and powerful while the high end remains crisp and clean.

Audio Quality

PLX2 audio power circuitry achieves performance normally associated with studio reference amplifiers. In order to reduce crossover distortion, precision bias tracking makes minute adjustments as amplifier temperature changes. The benefit is cleaner high-frequency and more consistent sound no matter how hard the amplifier is driven. The higher power models use QSC-exclusive class H output circuitry, a form of audio "turbocharging" that increases maximum power without affecting the basic audio quality.
